‘Bleat’ first look and trailer

Emma Stone and director Yorgos Lanthimos reunite for the short film Bleat! It was shot in Greece in early 2020 and was supposed to premiere in May 2020 but of course, it wasn’t possible. Now in 2022, it’s finally time! The film is commissioned as part of the Greek National Opera and nonprofit NEON program “The Artist on the Composer.” French actor Damien Bonnard also stars. Bleat will have its world premiere on May 6, accompanied by live music ensembles May 6–8 in Kallithea, Greece. Find the first still in the gallery and watch the trailer below:

New Cruella behind the scenes pictures

While Emma is on set of Poor Things, I’ve added a bunch of new behind the scenes pictures from Cruella, enjoy!

‘Cruella 2’ is in the works!

DEADLINE – Oscar winner Emma Stone has closed a deal to star in the sequel to Cruella, in what is a very good sign for Disney as it secures talent in the wake of some criticism of its theatrical-Disney+ Premier model.

Cruella, due to the pandemic, was released in theaters and on Disney+ PVOD tier on May 26, earning more than $222 million in worldwide ticket sales. The release of Cruella 2 is a ways off, and it’s not certain at this time whether the movie will be a pure theatrical release or like its predecessor released simultaneously in homes.

Emma Stone’s deal for Cruella 2, I hear, mutually benefits both sides especially at a time when Disney is still assessing the dynamic window model on its event titles.

Cruella was praised by critics at 74% fresh on Rotten Tomatoes, who also cited future awards-season buzz for the pic. The movie also earned an ‘A’ CinemaScore from audiences.

There is no known plot as of now.

Fun fact: Eurovision 2021 winners Måneskin are on board with the italian version of the movie! Singer Damiano David and bassist player Victoria De Angelis are having a small voicing part: Damiano will lend his voice to a character, Jeffrey, personal assistant of the baroness protagonist of the series. Victoria will lend her voice to another character, one reporter who will talk about Cruella’s exploits on TV, in the local news. See a teaser below:

Also, the whole band has been recreating the « I Wanna Be Your Dog » song (see it here).
