DEADLINE –  Several studios are lining up for Babylon, a script that Damien Chazelle has written to direct as his next film. I’m told that Lionsgate, which distributed the 14 Oscar-nominated La La Land, is considered the front-runner to land a project described to me as an original drama that is set in period Hollywood at a shifting moment when the business was turning from silents to talkies. Emma Stone, who along with Chazelle won an Oscar for her work in La La Land, is circling to star. Sources said the film is a bold auteur piece with a significant budget and that other studios are in the mix. Brad Pitt also is circling Babylon, though neither he nor Stone has made a commitment. Babylon is a drama that mixes real and fictional characters and is solidly in the R-rated category.

Yesterday on June 24, Emma and her friends (including her makeup artist Rachel Goodwin) hosted the Drag Queen Bingo night in Los Angeles. This is also the first official announcement of Emma Stone’s charity named : Em & Friends! They are now on Instagram @EmAndFriendsOfficial. All funds are going to the LGBTQI+ center in LA, provide food for those in need and will bring a theater program to Van Ness Elementary. Find pictures of the night in the gallery.

Remember the Omaze campaign Emma did with HAIM? Well it happened! Yesterday on June 13, Emma, the winner and the band HAIM attended the Spice Girls concert in London. Emma finally met her idols! I’m happy for her. Find pictures of the day in the gallery.

Three appearances in a row! On May 08, Emma Stone attended the Louis Vuitton Cruise 2020 launch at JFK Airport, New-York. She was seen chatting with fellow ambassadors of the brand such as Alicia Vikander, Michelle Williams… She also took time to greet a super-fan (a dog!). Find pictures of the event in the gallery.
