On October 04, Emma Stone attended the New York Film Festival to promote the short film ‘Bleat‘ with director Yorgos Lanthimos. As you know, with the strike going on, Emma can’t promote Poor Things but she can promote Bleat because they got an interim agreement. She looked lovely. She joked about doing a Q&A as long as the length of the movie. She also said she wants to do a silent film next! Woohoo! Another one of Emma’s projects that is getting closer! The Curse is a mini series  that explores how an alleged curse disturbs the relationship of a newly married couple as they try to conceive a child while co-starring on their problematic new HGTV show. Emma plays Whitney Siegel. The show will be released on Paramount + on November 10. Since the show is produced (amongst others) by A24 and they have accepted the SAG-AFTRA‘s terms for better wages and work condition, maybe we’ll get some promo! Fingers crossed. Emma’s new movie Poor Things has a new trailer! The movie has been presented at the Venice Film Festival this weekend which Emma didn’t attend because of the SAG AFTRA strike. The movie will also be presented at the Telluride Festival which Emma is rumored to attend to honor Yorgos Lanthimos, not to promote the movie directly. The first reviews are also out: the movie is amazing! Many critics say it might earn Emma’s fourth Oscar nomination and could even secure her the win! Can’t wait to see the movie.
